接着重头戏来了。

飞了3、4个小时,看了两部电影之后,座位前后左右都展不开,夹得浑身骨头疼。越坐越不得劲,就想着睡会儿觉缓缓。

我左手边那个小女孩,上了飞机就没消停过动来动去坐不定的。到我准备睡觉之前,终于放电完毕睡着了,就横躺在40d和40e两个座位上睡着(把中间扶手推了上去),上半身压着她妈,腿就向右伸,也就是对着我,她的‘长度’刚好就是两个座位的宽度多一点点!她睡着之后,每隔10分钟就踢我一下。我草泥马……不,我瞅着你妈的样子真的没胃口……

大家都知道我最烦厌小屁孩的,她踢我,我就用胳膊肘顶回她一下,她又反击踢我两下,我又再用手肘顶回她两下……踢、顶、踢、顶、踢、顶……我跟她斗法斗了差不多1个钟,最后我忍不住了就喊她妈,谁知跟她妈说中文说英文都好像听不懂。我只能按铃叫空服来。我发火说“还让不让人睡觉了!”。空服其实还挺有礼貌的,但跟那个妈妈也是鸡同鸭讲,搞了好久,才把那个小丫头调了个头(就是妈妈坐40e,小丫头腿伸向左边过道外)。

但是这么一折腾我已经睡不回去了,我气呼呼地,干脆拿出手机写了一封投诉信(原文附在这一章最后),回到香港就发邮件去投诉。虽然我知道投诉也没什么屁用,但最少我要表明态度,该骂的祖宗十八代都得骂。而且,我决定以后都会抵制国泰,再也不坐他们的破航班了!

吃完降落前那顿早餐之后,我就去机尾排队等上厕所。一班空服都站在机尾,她们就跟我道歉……

空姐a:“王先生,真是不好意思。那两母女我们查了原来是越南人,又不懂英文和中文,我们跟她们也很难沟通。”

我:“这次是我这辈子几十年坐飞机最辛苦的一次了。”

我就把整个故事从网上值机选座开始到那越南小女孩,很简单地跟她们讲了一遍。

空姐b:“是啊,我们的系统真是不行。最惨的是,我们公司还是收费最高的那家,客人怎么会觉得值这个价钱呢?……”

我:“我已经写好了投诉信去投诉那个系统和洛杉矶登机口的地勤。当然,你们空服的服务还是很好的。”(面对面当然要说好话啦……)。我还拿出手机给她们看我确实写了上千字……

空服主管:“没问题,那些地勤有时候确实应该被投诉一下。您知道的,他们其实不属于我们公司,是外包给外面其他公司做的……”

最后,还被我忽悠了一杯空服私人特饮热柠檬蜜,正好我喉咙有点痛,这玩意儿可不是人人能喝到的!

2024年1月27日凌晨5点41分,我终于踏足香港机场。那天非常非常冷,只有摄氏八度,比我在美国还冷。我回到家已经差不多7点,天还没亮,饥寒交迫、头晕发烧、口干鼻干,就一头栽到床上抱着棉被昏迷了。一直睡到下午3点才爬起来上街找吃的……就这么着,美国theshotshow之行就正式画上了句号。

ihaveabadbackwhichwillgotunfortableafter8hoursofflight.soinlonghaulialwaysrequestforanaisleseatwhichmakemefeelbetter.ihavemyfrequencyflyerpreferencealwaysindicaineedanaisleseat,andialwaysgotonefrotherairlinesexceptcx,forthelasttwoflightswithit.

don’ttellmethaticanpaytoreserveanaisleseat!whyshouldipayapremiumwhennobodyorotherairlinesneedto???

thistime,iamun露ckyaswellandgotassigned,unwillingly,aseat40f(non-aisle)asichecked-in24hourslaterthanotherpassengers.

iimmediatelycalledtheonlinecustomerservicesbuttheyareunabletohelpatall.justkeeptellingmetoaskatthegateorafteronboard.butiknewitcouldnotbearrangedasthisrouteisalwaysfullloaded.

2.yourgateagentatlaxsucks.theparticularnamekarolina,wasrudeandwithverybadattitude.ok,iunderstandshemightnotbehelpfulwithafullloadedflight,butherpokerfaceandnova露eattitudemademeannoying.artobegforaseat!bepoliteandsmilingevenyoucouldnothelp!

infact,justbeforeboarding,youronlinecstoldmethatthereisavacantaisleseat40dthaticouldaskthegateagentorattendantsonboard.butofcourseafteriboarded,thatseatwastaken.itmakesmewonderifthereisaconspiracythatwheniaskedthesuchkarolina,theseatwasactuallyavailablebutshejustrefusedtohelp,andthenlatertheseatwasassignedtoothers.

iunderstandyououtsourcegateagentsoverseasforcheapercost,butanup-to-expectationservicelevelhavetobemanaged.
